Endeco Ltd has been established in May 1990 by two persons - Francis Oles and Peter Strychalski. Now the founders keep 80% of shares in their hands.

Company had been opened with thought to serve with technical advising to Polish mining industry. That preliminary target has never become the basic activity. Just from first fiscal year we have started with trading of various products.

In 1992 we decided to establish manufacturing facilities in Bytom. The goal was to supply simple components for Polish mining industry. Within 1992 to 1997 we had been selling chain conveyor components - like pans, drives, spill plates and so on; road header components and units; hydraulic units and systems for mining applications. That activity resulted with 92 % of total turnover in 1996. That facility was closed in middle of 1997.

In 1993 we have also establish another branch office - dedicated for safety equipment. That manufacturing / assembling facility is located in Tarnowskie Góry. Endeco Ltd providing majority of domestically source filter inlets Class 1 and Class 2, half masks for basic applications, dust filters and other filtration equipment. The safety equipment has given 25% of total turnover in 1997 growing up to 40% in 2000 year.

Company turnover was growing from 100,000$ in 1991 (with 4 employees) to almost 2,500,000$ employing 15 people in 1996. Within 1996 year we were preparing company for major change, which was cancellation of our mining equipment activities and facilities. That decision was based on terrible difficulties we had suffered in regard to cash flow when dealing with that industry.

Resulting from company reengineering was a drop down in turnover, however in next years the turnover has been slowly growing targeting that in previous years. Number of employees has been reduced down to 9 persons working on permanent basis.

We are located in southern part of Poland, in town Katowice that is still the industrial capital of our country. In Katowice we got one location, which is registered office and board location, financial branch, technical, and marketing divisions as well.

In Tarnowskie Góry - which is some 40 kilometers north from Katowice - we have got manufacturing and servicing facilities and storage. There is also a laboratory facilities dedicated for certified tests of our products.
